SafeComment.net is a non-commercial site.  We have provided these graphics as a gift to the online community.  Any advertising is limited, and the revenue from such ads is simply to help defer our monthly dedicated hosting costs (currently $280/month)--again, no profit is derived from this site and we do not intend for there to be.

We try to be very respectful of copyrights.  We make no money from these graphics, and any licensed characters are used in a fan-art capacity.  Some of the art and graphics depicted on this site were purchased by us through commercial packages and we assume to be royalty-free.  Others works and images we have obtained from various sources and believe to be open-source. No copyright violation is intended, and any copyright infringment unintentional.  If you find that your art is displayed here without your consent, please contact the webmaster.  Due to the nature of the internet, and people claiming works as their own, we will require proof of ownership.  However, once ownershiop is established, we will be happy to give you full credit on this page or arrange to remove the graphic.

Note that while stock images may be used, individual graphics created with those images are produced by the SafeComment team, and thus original creations. Any graphics designed by us will be branded with the SafeComment tag. Note that we also feature graphics which we have received permission to reproduce on this site and/or have been submitted for inclusion on this site by their creators.  Those images remain the property of their respective creators.

While at our inception we will be featuring many graphics by outside creators (some of which you may have seen featured on other sites), our goal is to eventually offer primarily original graphics. Please keep this in mind when submitting graphics for inclusion in our collections.
